A memorial page is a place of remembrance, not a data collection point. We process only what is needed to create and show it. The controller is QR Imago, contact info@qrimago.io.
Who processes the data
The family of the deceased creates the memorial in their own account and decides its content. QR Imago runs the technical solution and keeps the data on a server in the European Union.
What data we process
The memorial content entered by the family (name, dates, photographs, text, grave location). Visitors' tributes: name, text and an optional e-mail. Technical data: page view counts and ordinary server logs.
What we use it for
To show the memorial page when the QR code is scanned, to let the family approve messages, to send anniversary reminders, and to manage the licence and plaque orders.
Legal basis
The contract with the family (the package ordered) and its legitimate interest in honouring the memory of the deceased. A visitor's tribute is processed on the basis of their own decision to send it; the e-mail is optional and never published.
How long we keep it
For the term of the memorial's licence and one further year, so the page can be restored without losing content. Messages the family rejects are deleted as they go. Order records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Who it is shared with
To the family with access to the memorial. Beyond that only to providers without whom the service does not work: hosting, e-mail delivery, card payment processing and plaque production. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
Story dictation
If the family dictates the life story by voice, the recording is sent to OpenAI, our processor, for transcription and tidying. We do not store the audio; under its API terms OpenAI does not use it to train models and deletes it after a short time. Only the text remains, which the family sees in the editor, edits or does not use.
Cookies
The public memorial page uses no advertising or tracking cookies. In the administration we store a single cookie that keeps you signed in, plus appearance settings in your browser.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its processing and object to it. A message you left will be removed on request. You may also contact your national data protection authority.
